On-going Volunteer Opportunities:

• Volunteer Teacher Naturalists (VTN's)
  Lead outdoor hikes and programs with students during the school day. Training is provided. Call Rebecca Clarke for details.

• Desk Receptionist
  Greet visitors and provide receptionist duties at the Ecology Center's front desk. Training is provided. Call Carol Schwoerer for details.

• Outdoor Park & Grounds Projects
  Trail maintenance, planting, weeding, watering plants, seed collection, and other activities.

• Critter Care
  Assist with feeding, exercise and care of Maywood's critters and the cleaning of their habitats. Training is provided.

• Promotion & Publicity
  Represent Maywood at various off-site special events such as the Sheboygan County Fair.

• Programs
  Share your expertise or experience by presenting a program at Maywood. Or, give presentations about Maywood and its mission to area organizations.

• Delivery
  Distribute and deliver posters, flyers, and brochures to area businesses and organizations.

• Artistic Assistance
  Help create exhibits, illustrate trail guides, create signs for special events, or think-up craft ideas for Maywood's special events. Contact Maywood for current projects.

• Woodworking/Craftspeople
  Construct routed outdoor signage, help remodel the workshop, or build storage shelves. Contact Maywood for current projects.

• Newsletter Production
  Assist in editing, writing, proofreading, photography, and mailing for EcoEdges, Maywood's seasonal newsletter.

• Fundraising
  Assist with fundraising projects, make contacts to area businesses and organizations, and help assemble mailings. Contact Maywood for information on current fundraising initiatives.

• Bicycle Tours
  Sag support drivers and bicycle maintenance volunteers needed for special events.
