EarthRide - September 19th, 2009
This popular full-service bicycle tour is for all ages and abilities. Several scenic routes from 12 to 100 miles take cyclists through beautiful Sheboygan County. Ride for an "Earth-while" cause.

School Programs
The Maywood Experience. Maywood serves over 12,000 students annually with a variety of programs. Visits to the Pigeon River, two spring-fed ponds, hardwood forest, and prairie provide numerous hands-on learning opportunities for students of all ages. Our goal is to make a Maywood field trip an extension of your classroom curricula. Programs are available in a variety of topics for various ages.

Eco Camps - Summer
New adventures await young nature lovers. Children experience a fun-filled week at day camp with outdoor activities such as hikes, crafts, games, special guests, field trips and overnight campouts, to help them apprceciate and understand our natural world. Ages and camp themes vary each summer.

Annual Trust Benefit Banquet - October 22, 2009
Join us for this annual event in support of Maywood. The evening includes a reception, silent auction, dinner, and guest speaker Jeb Barzen of the International Crane Foundation. Reservations required by October 8th.

Maywood Speaks
After 20 years of development, Maywood has emerged as a leader in the role of environmental education, providing outstanding programs for all ages. Maywood speakers are available to provide environmental/nature presentations to your service club, organization, business, church group or special event.

Distance Bike Training Program
Maywood's Distance Bike Training Program is a five-month program designed for cyclists who would like the support of trainers and group rides in preparing for long-distance cycling, including 100-mile century rides. The program includes weekly rides, meetings and workshops all designed to increase a rider's skill, knowledge, and physical fitness. Training is targeted to your specific riding ability and multiple riding groups are offered based on your riding speed and skills.

Earth Day Celebration - April 25th, 2009
Gain a new appreciation of our earth and its natural wonders by enjoying a wide variety of recreational and educational activities throughtout the park, such as kayaking, hands-on workshops, environmental exhibits, and live animal presentations.
Wishing For Winter - December 2009
Maywood is decorated for the holidays on several evenings for this festive community event. Both indoor and outdoor activities include a self-guided hike along trails of twinkling lights, with entertaining holiday character encounters, horse-drawn wagon rides to the North Pole, a crackling bonfire, nature crafts, holiday music and refreshments.

Flapjack Day - March 15th, 2009
Celebrate the Wisconsin tradition of maple sugaring with activities that include sampling homemade maple syrup on a stack of flapjacks and foot-stomping entertainment for the entire family. This popular event features guided tours of the sugar bush to observe the entire process of maple sugaring, from tapping trees to boiling the sap into pure, sweet syrup.
