Service organizations, church groups, conservation clubs, businesses, and all groups are encouraged to contact Maywood to fill your program needs. 

As part of community outreach, speakers from Ellwood H. May Environmental Park – Maywood offer 20-minute to 1-hour presentations that will enlighten your group about current park news, community events, adventures in environmental education, and various nature topics.   Programs include slides, video tape, or a DVD presentation.  These programs may be incorporated into a regular business or club meeting, with a variety of topics to choose from, along with time scheduled to meet your needs.

After 20 years of development, Maywood has emerged as a leader in the role of environmental education, providing outstanding programs for all ages.  It’s the story of people and a vision benefiting this and succeeding generations. 

Your organization’s members will gain a better understanding of opportunities and programs at Maywood as well as community projects and events.  Learn how your organization and its members can benefit and become involved. 

The presentation highlights special events at Maywood throughout the year.  Experience how special programs are developed and may be sponsored at our park.  Maywood has become a very valuable part of what our community offers its citizenry, students, and visitors in environmental and recreational programs.   Programs include the Maywood story, nature presentations on special select topics, Cyberhike, and the Drop of Life adventure in education. 

You are invited to schedule your next meeting at Maywood while enjoying a presentation.  Tour the Ecology Center, scenic trails, and park grounds.  Or a volunteer will be happy to come to your next meeting location.
